"I'm looking for a company..." Your business may be the answer to this question with the Chamber's "member only" referral system. As the official welcome center, the Chamber receives thousands of phone calls, emails and visits to our office looking for businesses in Eatonton-Putnam County and the Lake Oconee / Lake Sinclair community. Only Chamber members are referred!
Business Directory / Hot Deals on Web site
Visitors, fellow members and citizens alike all visit the Chamber's official Web site www.eatonton.com to find answers about our community. On the Chamber's Web site, all Chamber members are listed in the searchable business directory that is Search Engine Optimized and indexed with Google. Every member receives a listing, while members that give the technology donation ($15) may advance their listing to include a link to their Web site, a logo, pictures and a 50 word description. Also available throughout the Chamber's Web site are Hot Deals which allow members to create a coupon that is printable from the Chamber's Web site.
Brochures / Business Cards
Maximize the promotion of your business by bringing us your company's brochures, business cards and promotional items. Brochures and business cards are displayed in the Welcome Center for visitors to select from and to assist our staff when assembling information packages to fulfill inquires on our community. A Newcomer Goody Bag packed full of all the promotional items provided by our members is a favorite welcome gesture to our community's newest residents.
Member to Member Promotions
Have you recently launched a new service, hired a new employee or have an upcoming event? Most likely you're looking for ways to get the word out to the community. One of the greatest benefits of being a Chamber member is promoting your services to fellow Chamber members. Even if businesses are not your target market, remember that Chamber members are so much more than just a business owner or an employee. They are people with an entire network of contacts made up of parents, children, siblings, extended family and friends that they will tell about your business! Chamber members love to support one another!
To assist your fellow members in spreading the word about your business, submit an announcement for the weekly email or monthly newsletter to be included in the "Member to Member" section.
Another great way to directly reach your fellow Chamber members is to request a list of mailing labels from the Chamber (free electronically, $15 for labels). With the labels you can send a direct mail piece promoting your existing services or informing members of changes or events.
