New Member Checklist
Congratulations on becoming a new member of the Chamber!
As a new member, you will receive your new member packet with your Chamber plaque and window decal, and will be invited to the upcoming New Member Reception.
As a new member, here are some initial steps we suggest to Maximize Your Membership:
- (1) Ensure your customers and prospective customers know you are a member: When consumers know that a small business is a member of the chamber of commerce, they are 44 percent more likely to think favorably of it and 63 percent more likely to purchase goods or services from the company in the future. Spread the word about your membership by displaying your Chamber plaque with the current year sticker; proudly telling customers and prospective customers you are a member; and showcasing your membership on your Web site, e-mail tag and advertising.
- (2) Check your listing in the Online Business Directory: We encourage you to search for your business in the online business directory found within this site, to ensure you are listed the way someone would search for you.
- (3) Mark your calendar for upcoming events: Visit our Chamber calendar within this site to view a list of upcoming events.
- (4) Look for your weekly email and monthly newsletter: You should start to receive our weekly email and monthly newsletter that will list all events and updates, please let me know if you do not seen these publications.
- (5) Become a Fan on Facebook: We encourage you to become a Fan of the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce on Facebook where you'll be able to see photos from events.
- (6) Supply us with brochures, business cards and promotional items: Please bring us some brochures and / or business cards to display in our welcome center to assist in promoting your business.
